We have been incredibly busy this month, between trying out new flavours, catering for gallery openings and gaining new contracts each week. We are officially the preferred supplier for the Mansion House which we were delighted to finalise! Looking forward to some very interesting events in the coming months there! We made these branded cakes and sent them into the Mansion House as a little present last week!
Jennie’s recently catered an event for KTContemporary with Sam’s Sweet Potatoes. The event was an amazing night with great art and the cupcakes went down a treat!

We are currently working on some press exposure too which we’re very excited about! More about that soon. And even more exciting is that we plan to expand into our commercial kitchen this month!
April is nearly over already… so we’re working on a summer collection for the May and June bank holidays. BBQ themed cupcakes with a Jennie’s twist…. stay tuned!

Hi Everyone!
Hopefully going to be better than my usual track record of blogs, and keep this one up to date. Welcome to the official Jennie’s Bake Shop blog. This weekend was a baptism of fire to say the least! With over 60 Mother’s Day orders across Dublin and 5 bespoke cakes, the bake shop ran through the night and deliveries took the whole day. My Mum is having Mother’s Day tomorrow as a result!
The most popular cupcakes were definitely the Jennie’s Red Velvet with the Mother’s Day customisation.
But we also had time to make some other flavours by request, including St Patricks Day mini cupcakes. We decided to go wit an Irish flavour and so what better than Baileys cream! These little guys travelled all the way to Belgium!
As well as the cupcake marathon we made a birthday cake for a surprise party! The birthday girl is a big fan of tea so we figured what better than lemon madeira teapot cake! She loved it.
We also made another giant cupcake birthday cake, which has become a favourite from Jennie’s. The chocolate cup is something quite special (we make a chocolate cup to act as the giant cupcake case! A tricky one, but worth it for the wow factor!)
What else did we make…. oh yes! Strawberry and Elderflower four layer cake anyone? This cake is light and summery and delicious but the amazing part is that it serves up to 25 people! Here is one we made a few weeks for Ciara, the beauty editor from VIP magazine!
Despite working to a strict Mother’s Day headline, we still spent some time experimenting with some new flavours (more about that later) and piping techniques.
In techy news, our website is coming along really really well and should be up and running soon! Complete with an online shop!
Next thing in the bake shop is planning for the Easter deliveries (we have some great flavours on offer!) and we’re also planning something special for a 21st birthday party! Stay tuned!
